WHY WORTH VISITING? Seasonal restaurant "Todá" offers a variety of Middle Eastern cuisine dishes. "It's a simple, unpretentious, Tel Aviv-inspired food," the founder and chef Martynas says. The restaurant strives to maintain a good atmosphere so that seaside guests can relax and enjoy their time pleasantly.
"We welcome visitors from all over Lithuania, although Vilnius and Kaunas residents prevail. We notice that seaside guests tend to be more relaxed, but we work the same, not compromising our standards”, the chef emphasizes.
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE MENU? The "Todá" restaurant's dishes cover all of the Middle East – Israel, Lebanon, Persia, Morocco. "The most enjoyable way to eat our dishes is with friends or family - order many small meze plates, try our locally baked bread, and share the food," Martynas says. According to him, the restaurant's menu is quite extensive, so everyone finds something to choose, and it can be challenging to taste everything on the first visit.
GUESTS RETURN FOR signature dishes like hummus, spreads, or grilled meat.
WHO WORKS IN THE KITCHEN? Introduction is probably not necessary for the founder and head chef of the "Todá" restaurant, Martynas Praškevičius (in Palanga) Arnas Budrius (in Nida). The new restaurant's team consists of employees from all over Lithuania who arrived at the seaside for the warm season. "These are people who sacrifice their own summer for Todá guests," Martynas proudly says.
